FamilyFarmed.org’s Guide to Chicagoland CSA connects consumers directly with farms offering CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) shares. Consumers can purchase a share of the farm’s harvest at the beginning of the season and then the farmer delivers periodic (usually weekly) boxes or “shares” containing the best of what the growing season has to offer. We also match-make farms with drop-off locations ranging from individual homes to commercial locations such as the Illinois Tollway Oasis and the Aon Center in downtown Chicago.
