 Irv & Shelly's Fresh Picks offers year-round home delivery in the Chicago area of local and organic produce, meat, dairy and eggs. You can order online anytime to choose the specific items you want, or opt for a Fresh Picks Box that is automatically delivered to your door weekly or bi-weekly.

We want to grow the supply and demand for local food in order to reduce the negative environmental effect of agriculture. As we work to provide a convenient access point for people to buy great local food all year round, we then increase demand so farmers can have the confidence to invest and expand sustainable growing. We help to link local farms together on transportations routs towards the Chicago area, improving the efficiency of how local food gets to all of us.
Seeing the impact of our service with increased local sustainable growing. Buying from new farmers and helping them enter the Chicago market. Having customers be so excited about the fresh food they receive and trying new foods they had not tried before. Many customers say they fell healthier by eating a more diverse and seasonal diet.
When Mother Nature makes the growing harder with flooding, winds, fluctuating temperature, and the bitter cold, causing loss of crops, expense to our farmers and less local produce for our customers.
We are able to provide a wide variety of fresh local produce, meats, dairy, eggs, and more from dozens of farms all year round delivered to people’s homes and offices throughout the greater Chicago area. We tell our customers where each local item in an order comes from so they can know the name and location of the farm and how it was grown. We provide great flexibility and convenience for eating local food with deliveries scheduled as often as a person wants and an ability to order specific food items.
