Katherine Anne Confections

Katherine Anne has been making decadent confections ever since her childhood on a Wisconsin farm. Her mother taught her how to use fresh cream from the family's Jersey cows to create batches of old-fashioned caramels. During the holidays, her father sold "Katharine's Karamels" at work for 25 cents each. Over the years, Katherine's passion for creating artisanal confections grew, and she perfected three classic caramel flavors and six exquisite truffle varieties.

Her confections are handmade using ‘only the finest ingredients’: Guittard chocolate, heavy cream, and locally produced wildflower honey. The finished truffles and caramels are then packaged in handmade, sustainable boxes for a beautiful presentation. Her dedication to quality has already been recognized by the Chicago Sun Times and TimeOut Chicago.

Why have you chosen to produce your products?
Because I wanted to work for myself; also, I love chocolate and sustainability.

What is your favorite part of being an organic producer?
Creating new flavors, hearing the moans of delight as someone tries the product.

What is your least favorite part?
Tying 500 bows in 2 hours!
