Salute! Farm and Vineyard is a small and special farm in that they grow vegetables and red wine grapes. Owner Haje Black and Farm Manager Michelle Perry take great pride in using sustainable farming techniques to produce and provide their customers with delicious and nutritious vegetables and superb local wine.
Salute! Farm and Vineyard is a well managed, productive small farm growing healthy, delicious fruits, vegetables and herbs without chemical pesticides or fertilizers. They are a healthy and invigorating place to live, work and visit. A welcoming place to buy products, to learn about sustainable farming, and to experience the farm environment in a natural setting. A beautiful, artistic place comfortably situated in a rich landscape of farmland, wetland, oak savanna and prairie. An environmentally friendly place demonstrating thoughtful stewardship of natural resources.
You can find Salute! Farm and Vineyards produce at the Woodstock Farmers Market, through their CSA (on farm and Woodstock pick up sites) and at Le Petitie Creperie in Woodstock. Visit their website to learn more about the release of their Primo Rosso from their second grape harvest!

Getting to play in the dirt and eating well!
We were the first vineyard in McHenry county and all of our products are consumed in about a 20 mile radius of the farm. How’s that for local!
