FamilyFarmed is hiring a Market Development Manager.  The Market Development Manager will build relationships with trade buyers and regional Good Food Producers to educate stakeholders and increase Good Food product sales in the Midwest. As a result of these relationships, buyers and sellers of Good Food will be active in the Good Food EXPO, Good Food Financing and Innovation Conference, Good Food Accelerator, and other FamilyFarmed programs (including government grant-funded projects).

The Market Development Manager is responsible for planning and implementing sponsorship sales and procuring partners for FamilyFarmed special events. The Market Development Manager is responsible for collaborating with other FamilyFarmed staff to ensure mission and funding alignment of market development activities.

The Market Development Manager partners with FamilyFarmed’s CEO, Development and Marketing + Communications teams to develop and execute integrated strategic sales and partnership initiatives. This position requires extensive experience creating market development strategies, project management, strong presentation skills, an established network and the ability to deliver both short-term and long-term results while working independently and with others.
